Ordered the baby octopus and beef pot (known here for), butter corn and the spicy chicken feet.

The pot comes in three diff sizes and its shareable! For a small pot, it was a lot of food and they didn't skimp out the baby octopus.
When I go to korean restaurants, I consider how good their kimchi taste and here its perfect with a little kick to it.

Normally when I asked for extra spice at other restaurants, its never spicy but here you get what you asked for!

I can live without the chicken feet as it was too sweet for my liking. However, I will definitely return with friends to try out other foods! Love supporting family businesses!

We had ordered the japchae, bulgogi and ox tail soup for two people.  It was more food that we could eat as the portions are a decent size plus we didn't want to stuff ourselves.

The bulgogi tasted better than some other places as it seemed more fresh and the flavors were balanced.  Some places just drench the beef with sauce so you kind of lose the beef flavor.

The ox tail soup was good as it was something my girlfriend wanted as she likes her soups.  It wasn't bland or salty and the meat was tender.  It was light so you don't feel like you just had an overwhelming or intense soup but something that makes you feel like a good wholesome soup.   She always has homemade soup so it satisfied the need for a soup.

I really liked the japchae because it has a lot of items in it.  The mixture of vegetables, meat and noodles was good.  The noodles were cooked just right, not too soft or hard.  The amount of sauce was good to, as each bite was rich in flavor.

This place is not holding back on the spicy level at all! It's one of the most spicy dishes I have ever had in Vancouver and I can do the Spicy Ramen noddle challenge, no problem. The food itselft and the portion are very good actually. We ordered medium size chicken and baby , LA galbi and steamed egg. The octopus tastes fresh which is a plus as not many restaurant knows how to treat octopus . However, I wish they could adjust the spicy level as they said everything was marinated in the same kind of sauce ‍. If you can love , check this place out!

We shared the hotpot soup for 2 for $28. Decent size and price was on point. Family run restaurant with good service. They take credit cards and cash.

Oh! Zzhu Sam is located on Edmond St and Mary Ave in Burnaby.
We came here for late lunch and ordered few basic item on lunch menu.

Steamed dumplings - it's good but not great.
Stir fried glass noodles - it's delicious and taste different than others Korean style.
The beef short rib soup - it's good value as a lunch special for $10 and surprisingly tasty.

I would go back if I pass by that area again.
